Easy installation to keep windows securely closed - White Diecast Construction (Pack of 2) Defender Security U 9809 Sliding Window Lock for Vinyl Windows.
EACH PACK INCLUDES – (2)Adjustable jaw that fits all vinyl frame rail thicknesses from 1/16" up to 1/2" thick. "Vise like" grip holds securely and will not mar frame. Allows window to lock in ventilating position; cam style locking lever; no tools required. This is for Vinyl Windows only.
SECURELY LOCK WINDOWS – These sliding window locks for vinyl windows help keep them securely closed. The locks feature an adjustable jaw that has a “vise-like” grip, and they are capable of opening up to ½” wide.
ADD EXTRA SECURITY – Use these sliding window locks to prevent unwanted intruders and avoid falling accidents –keeping your windows closed when you want them the most secure! Air and a breeze can get in, but no intruders.
FOR USE ON MOST VINYL WINDOWS – These sliding window locks are for use on horizontal sliding windows and most vertical sliding (single hung) windows as a secondary window lock.

Replaced a cheaper, expandable cat door from Amazon with this. This cat door looks 100x better and fits better in the window without drafts. We've had a couple of windy days and I haven't heard the flap going back and forth. Worth the extra money to get a custom fit door!
Door works as designed. It took my cat a little while to figure it out. I got the small door and my cat is 15lbs. I would say he is max size with out going larger. Door has been surprisingly good with summer heat as well. Highly recommend with having for a month so far, hopefully holds up well with the elements in the future.

These installed so easily and are so secure that I have no ill feelings about not being able to use my window locks now that my cap flap door is installed. And let me say this about the door: LOVE IT! My window leads out to a screen porch and now my 9 month old cat can go out there all he wants, and he's out there a lot. He's the happiest cat ever! Before I used to have to prop the porch door open for him, or keep it shut if the temps outside were unfavorable. No more!!! It's a win/win for us!
